Miami Dade College, located in Miami, Florida, is a public college that welcomes a diverse student body with its open-admissions policy, offering a broad range of associate and bachelor's degrees. Established in 1959, the college has grown to become the largest institution of higher education in Florida and one of the most highly regarded community colleges in the United States. The main campus, recognized for its landmark Freedom Tower in downtown Miami, is one of eight campuses and twenty-one outreach centers situated throughout Miami-Dade County.
