Without question, one of the most compelling colleges in terms of an undergraduate experience: a diverse, attractive, talented student body, dedicated faculty, robust social life, and access to all of the academic, professional, cultural, and social opportunities of Washington, DC--the best of all worlds. Tremendous Hoya Pride.

I matriculated at Georgetown U. for my undergraduate degree. If you are interested in government, politics, political science, international affairs, international business, pre-med or are looking for a classic liberal arts course of study, it is hard to beat Georgetown! The school attracts very bright students from every corner of the US and from numerous countries around the globe. If you are a focused student who has a clear since if what excites you, then Georgetown will meet and likely far exceed your expectations. While Georgetown University is a urban school in Washington, DC, it is in the northwest corner of the city in an area called Georgetown. The area is very fashionable and has a range of high end restaurants and retailers along with a number of popular bars and late night spots. The university is close by but it is nestled 7 blocks away in the residential part of the neighborhood. The Georgetown University campus is very smartly conceived with beautiful architecture.

Tends to be a lot of East coast snobbery. Heavy volume of social justice warriors for my liking.
