Georgetown Test Policy

Test Submission Requirements

Georgetown University requires first-year applicants in the 2026-27 admissions cycle to submit official SAT or ACT scores sent from the College Board or ACT. Georgetown requires at least one full exam and does not accept superscores or self-reported scores. It considers only SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math, does not consider ACT Writing, and highly recommends ACT Science especially for science majors. Applicants who cannot physically access a test center may request an exception.
