Los Medanos College

Los Medanos College is a public community college located in Pittsburg, California, approximately 40 miles east of San Francisco in Contra Costa County. The main campus sits on 120 acres of rolling hills overlooking the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, with a modern architectural design featuring outdoor walkways and gathering spaces that connect its academic buildings. The college maintains a second campus center in Brentwood to serve the eastern portion of its district. Los Medanos offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs, with notable strengths in process technology, electrical and instrumentation technology, and nursing, along with comprehensive transfer programs to four-year institutions.
