California State University-Northridge (CSUN) is a public institution established in 1958 and located in the suburban setting of Northridge, California, within the San Fernando Valley, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles. Spanning over 356 acres, the campus reflects Modernist architectural styles and sustains a varied collection of plant life, contributing to its engaging physical environment. CSUN offers a comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs, notably recognized for its College of Business and Economics, College of Education, and College of Engineering and Computer Science. While the university practices a moderately selective admissions process, it maintains a commitment to accessibility and diversity within its student body.
