The Bel Air location, situated in the Santa Monica Mountains, features modern academic buildings and residential facilities spread across 22 acres overlooking the city. Established in 1947 as the University of Judaism before merging with the Brandeis-Bardin Institute in 2007, AJU focuses on undergraduate and graduate programs in Jewish studies, education, business, and nonprofit management. The university maintains a small, selective undergraduate enrollment and houses students in on-campus residence halls at the Familian campus.
