Ripon College occupies a 250-acre campus in the small city of Ripon, Wisconsin, located 90 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Established in 1851 as a preparatory school that evolved into a liberal arts college, the institution features both historic limestone buildings and modern academic facilities arranged around a central oak grove. The college maintains a selective admission process and offers more than 40 majors, with notable programs in biology, business management, and teacher education. Students are required to live on campus for their first three years, housed primarily in residence halls and campus houses, and the college competes in NCAA Division III athletics as the Red Hawks through the Midwest Conference.
