This school considers itself "bottom of the barrel". In my first week, we were told that were scraping bottom and we were the bottom. It was an antagonistic learning environment that didn't seek to elevate students knowledge. It was more of a bullying atmosphere where students struggled to overcome label bestowed by faculty. It is also, not a guarantee that the student will receiving relevant or timely instruction by the actual instructor. Many instructors instead, default to Open source materials, you as an adult already have access to. Some of these materials are out of date and no longer pertinent to the subject or the course of study. Also the degree programs are set up backwards, where you will be assigned many, many papers in a format that you may not have ever heard of, or are familiar with. The faculty will not care that you don't know what something is or how it functions. You will not be assisted by faculty in comprehending anything you do not know. Once you've written all your papers and received criticism, marks and detriments (because you do not know and they are not willing to tell you) only then will you be taking the class that explains the proper format for the papers in your degree program. So you will be brow beaten and punished for not knowing the information they will share with you last. This is an inferior institution of learning that does not strive to impart knowledge. Instead it felt like a weirdo contest and gatekeeping. At the bottom. We, who scraped bottom were subject to lots of aggressive gatekeeping.

Unfortunately I took the IT Security program and it was not very good. Numerous instructors left the college, one per semester. The college is using adjuncts to teach the classes but the adjuncts are not the best. Classes that had one instructor didn't have working labs and he said don't worry about it. Then in the capstone class we couldn't do the assignments. This was a disappointingbprogram.
