Mount Mary University, located on an 80-acre campus in northern Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a private Catholic liberal arts institution founded in 1913 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. Initially established as St. Mary's College, the institution was Wisconsin's first four-year Catholic college for women and continues to serve a predominantly female student population while offering select graduate programs to all genders. The university is known for its professional programs in fashion design, art therapy, counseling, and occupational therapy, housed primarily within its signature Notre Dame Hall, which showcases Gothic Revival architecture. Students reside in Caroline Hall, the main campus dormitory, while the institution competes in NCAA Division III athletics as the Blue Angels, primarily focusing on women's sports including volleyball, soccer, and basketball.
