Cardinal Stritch University is located in the suburban Fox Point-Glendale area, approximately six miles north of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1937 by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, the institution began as St. Clare College before becoming Cardinal Stritch University in 1946.
