University of Puget Sound is a private liberal arts college located in Tacoma, Washington, approximately 35 miles south of Seattle. Founded in 1888, the institution resides in a primarily residential area and spans a 97-acre campus, notable for its Tudor-Gothic architecture. It offers a range of undergraduate programs, with particular recognition in Music, Business, and International Relations, as well as a School of Occupational Therapy for graduate studies. With a focus on a liberal arts education, the college provides a curriculum that encourages interdisciplinary and experiential learning. The University of Puget Sound has a moderately selective admissions process.
