Centralia College, established in 1925, is Washington state's oldest continuously operating community college, located in the small city of Centralia between Seattle and Portland. The 30-acre campus features modern academic buildings and student facilities in a small-town setting, with Mount Rainier visible from campus on clear days. The college offers associate degrees, bachelor's degrees in applied management and diesel technology, and professional/technical certificates, serving students primarily from Lewis County and surrounding rural communities. Operating on a quarter system, Centralia College provides on-campus housing through its modern residence hall, which opened in 2017. The college competes in the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) in several sports, including basketball, baseball, and volleyball, with teams known as the Blazers.
