Blue Ridge Community College's main campus is situated in Weyers Cave, Virginia, approximately 15 miles from Harrisonburg in the Shenandoah Valley. Established in 1967, the 219-acre rural campus features modern academic buildings and technical facilities surrounded by rolling countryside at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The college serves students across eight counties and two cities in the region, offering both transfer degrees and career-focused programs. Notable areas of study include aviation maintenance technology, nursing, veterinary technology, and advanced manufacturing, with the aviation program being one of only four FAA-certified programs in Virginia. While BRCC operates as a commuter campus without residential facilities, it maintains several student gathering spaces and a technology-focused learning commons that opened in 2014.
