Landmark College, located in the small town of Putney, Vermont, is a private institution recognized for its innovative approach to supporting students with learning differences such as dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Established in 1985, Landmark is situated in a rural setting amidst the hills of southern Vermont, approximately 22 miles north of Brattleboro. The College focuses on providing associate and bachelor?s degrees, and is particularly known for its programs in Computer Science, Studio Arts, Psychology, and Liberal Studies. Landmark College's campus features a range of residential options, designed to accommodate its student body. With a high-touch educational model and an open admissions policy, the college strives to offer tailored educational support rather than competitive selectivity. Landmark does not have an extensive athletics program, choosing instead to center its resources and efforts on the academic and personal growth of its students.
