Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) is a private Catholic institution located on the west side of San Antonio, Texas, approximately three miles from the city's downtown district. Established in 1895 by the Sisters of Divine Providence, the campus is recognized for its main building's Gothic Revival architecture and its position overlooking Lake Elmendorf. The university operates as a Hispanic-Serving Institution, offering undergraduate and graduate programs with particular strengths in education, social work, and psychology. OLLU maintains a residential campus with several student housing options, including the Providence Hall and Centennial Hall dormitories, while also operating satellite campuses in Houston and the Rio Grande Valley. The institution competes in the NAIA Red River Athletic Conference, fielding teams known as the Saints in various sports including basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
