North Central Texas College (NCTC) is a public community college located in Gainesville, Texas, approximately 65 miles north of Dallas along Interstate 35. The main campus occupies 110 acres and serves as the flagship location among NCTC's six campuses across north Texas. Founded in 1924 as Gainesville Junior College, NCTC stands as the oldest continuously operating two-year college in Texas, offering associate degrees and certificate programs with notable emphasis in health sciences, business, and technical trades.
