College of Biblical Studies Houston

The College of Biblical Studies Houston (CBS) operates from its main campus in southwest Houston, Texas, situated near the intersection of Sam Houston Tollway and U.S. Highway 59. Established in 1976 as Houston Bible Institute, the institution focuses exclusively on biblical and theological education, offering bachelor's degrees in biblical counseling, biblical studies, organizational leadership, and women's ministry. The college maintains accreditation from both the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), serving primarily working adult students through a combination of on-campus and online programs.
