Student and Parent Reviews
If you are a student, former student, faculty member or parent, please help guide other prospective students by sharing your personal experiences at this college. What is it really like to go to Abilene Christian University?
Parent
Involved Professors readily available to students. My son found life long Christian friends and appreciated the Christian support from ACU staff. Great food in the Bean. Beautiful campus and Abilene is a wonderful community welcoming of college students from all Abilene campuses. I know my son achieved a great education and are appreciative to ACU.
Alumnus
One of the best physics and engineering choices possible. Great research.
Alumnus
Small classes, dedicated faculty, and a good community atmosphere. It's in West Texas, but the on-campus sports are fun. And the smaller size of the university is conducive to deep friendships and mentorships.
Prospective Student
As a high-school student, looking for colleges, I recommend Abilene Christian University. Most of the professors are kind from what I have met and is a great atmosphere for Christians from everywhere.
Former Student
The professors were pretty good, but other than that I wouldn?t recommend. I had major dorm problems all year that were never fixed properly, REALLY conservative and everything was just forced especially religious beliefs that was a little overboard. Most of the people were nice, but it was like living in a bubble and everyone was walking on eggshells. The best way to describe it was church camp on steroids. Not worth the money at all. Chapel is annoying and an inconvenience as well. Decent, safe campus, but not much else honestly. Literally nothing to do around campus and it?s really dull and boring. Again, not worth the student debt.
