Volunteer State Community College

Volunteer State Community College is a public two-year institution located in Gallatin, Tennessee, approximately 30 miles northeast of Nashville. Established in 1971, the main campus occupies 120 acres of suburban landscape with modern classroom buildings and technical facilities. The college serves as a primary educational hub for northern Middle Tennessee through its main campus and additional satellite locations in Livingston, Springfield, and Cookeville. Vol State, as it is commonly known, offers associate degrees and technical certificates with strong programs in health sciences, business, and computer information technology.
