Professor/Faculty
At PC, faculty get to know students? strengths, recognize their potential, and identify when to encourage them (or give them the extra nudge they need). Classes provide creative challenges with a supportive environment. Along the way, students can explore the world through accessible two-week faculty-led travel programs and tap into an alumni network eager to help them find internships, careers, and their next big opportunity. A PC degree has one of the best returns on investment in South Carolina.
Current Student
Presbyterian College has been the best decision I have ever made. The small classes and relationships that you make with professors and peers is second to none. The professors will bend over backwards to accommodate and assist with your success as a student and as a person. PC is small and admittedly that makes it challenging to find your group initially but the people there make it so easy to find where you belong. The academics are rigorous and give real world application. To embrace the whole of PC you need to try and get involved with clubs or organization and you will realize how great a place PC truly is. It is not a perfect place but it will be a great decision if you choose to go there.
Professor/Faculty
Presbyterian College is an incestuous cult. Too many administrators and faculty are former alumni. The only thing they push more than the Left Wing Marxism that is replacing their former Christian curriculum is the never-ending ?Go Blue Hose? Koolaid. PC no longer hires full time tenure track faculty, preferring to farm out classes to a revolving door of adjuncts, many of whom don?t even possess a Masters degree. What a sad decline!
Professor/Faculty
Students receive highly individualized attention from faculty at Presbyterian College. Additionally, there are tremendous leadership/career development opportunities in campus organizations such as the investment club, student run media, model UN, research projects, etc. Having graduated from three large, public universities; students tend to get lost in the crowd at those types of institutions. At Presbyterian College, the students are thriving and receiving valuable guidance and mentorship. For this reason, along with the generous scholarship packages most students qualify for; students receive strong Return on Investment. When you factor in the scholarships, typically (depending on the year) the only institutions in SC displaying higher ROI are Clemson and the Citadel. PC is positioned nicely within the competitive market of higher education.
Current Student
What you can expect from a SMALL school. You have to put in a little work to find your social group, but a lot of students really have a great time at PC!
