It was about what I expected a community college in the ghetto (North Charleston) to be. Campus was decent enough I guess for the type of education they offered there, staff and professors were reasonably accommodating and friendly. Only big issue I have is they will absolutely hold your transcript hostage until you pay them every cent they feel you owe. I took 2 semesters there, and somehow managed to complete the entire 2nd semester AND get my stamped paper transcript from the admissions office when I left while apparently still owing like $2,500 for that 2nd semester that I was never told about. I kid you not. I took an entire semester of class without even knowing that I owed them money (I had assumed it was paid with my student loan from the 1st semester as I never saw anything to suggest that the 2nd semester was an extra charge). So aside from the whole hiding the check and holding transcripts hostage thing, it was an ok school.

I am currently a student here who is currently waitig on my refund since July i have been getting the run around everytime its something new. When i first started I ask is this a online school or hands on and they told me hands on basically you do everything online you are in the classroom with a teacher for a few hours maybe one or two days out the week. You basically teaching yourself and they charge you all this money and then screw up your financial aid and its sad because Im almost through but I dont want to attend anymore. You may have some good teachers there but alot of them just go with the flow and get you in . Since I been there new workers have been coming and going I just no longer like this school at all.

This is a horrible school to attend. Please do not enroll at Miller-Motte. This has been my biggest mistake ever and the Financial Aide Department is a disaster.

Attending Miller-Motte College was the worst mistake of my life. If I could rate this school no stars, that is how I would rate my experience. I'm so angry and heart broken. They have all these locations and students have similar complaints but all of them are unsatisfied and feel ripped off. Calling this school a learning institution is absurd. Their cost is overrated. I have thousands of dollars of student loan debt for an Associate's degree in EMR that can't even help get me a job that pays close to my tuition. During enrollment, I spoke with my adviser about my long term and short term goals. I was excited about taking the steps to achieve my dreams. My experience was the opposite. Attending here is making my dream impossible. Because of this timely and costly degree my Pell and student loan is exhausted. Now I'm forced to pay out of pocket for my nursing degree. This is impossible with a degree from Miller-Motte. Not to mention all their degree programs can be offered as a certif

Most of their programs do not thoroughly educate you enough to find a job after graduation and also, they do not tell you that many fields you will not only need the degree for, but also a few years experience in order to get hired.
