Charleston Southern University (CSU), located in the historic city of Charleston, South Carolina, is a private, Christian institution that offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Established in 1964, the university is situated on a suburban campus notable for its characteristic Southern architecture and provides a setting conducive to academic study and personal growth. CSU has a moderately selective admissions process and is recognized for its nursing and education programs, which are among the most popular majors offered.
