Ursinus College is a private liberal arts college located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, a suburban setting approximately 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Founded in 1869, the college occupies a 170-acre campus known for its inviting, red-brick Collegiate Gothic architecture. Ursinus offers more than 60 majors and minors with a strong emphasis on undergraduate research and interdisciplinary studies. Particularly recognized for its science programs, Ursinus has a notable Health and Exercise Physiology Department and is also home to the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum of Art.
