Situated in the Philadelphia suburb of Rosemont, Pennsylvania, Rosemont College occupies an 56-acre campus in the affluent Main Line area, approximately 11 miles west of Center City Philadelphia. The institution, founded in 1921 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, began as a Catholic women's liberal arts college and transitioned to full coeducational status in 2009. The campus features collegiate Gothic architecture, with several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the iconic Main Building and Gracemere estate house. While maintaining its traditional strength in liberal arts education, Rosemont offers undergraduate programs in business, education, and creative writing, along with graduate programs in publishing and business administration. The college provides on-campus housing through traditional residence halls and suite-style accommodations, with most first-year students required to live on campus.
