Penn State Mont Alto, located in rural south-central Pennsylvania approximately 15 miles from the Maryland border, operates as one of Penn State University's Commonwealth campuses. The 93-acre campus features historic buildings dating to its 1903 founding as the Pennsylvania State Forest Academy, set against a backdrop of forest land.
