Penn State DuBois, one of the Commonwealth campuses of the Pennsylvania State University system, is situated in the small town of DuBois, Pennsylvania, approximately 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Established in 1935, the campus extends Penn State's reach, offering undergraduate degree programs to the residents of northcentral Pennsylvania. With a focus on individualized attention, the campus environment is characterized by smaller class sizes and close-knit community interactions. Academic programs at Penn State DuBois are known for integrating traditional classroom learning with practical, hands-on experience, particularly in fields such as Business, Engineering, and Information Sciences. While the campus maintains an open admissions policy, competition can vary by program. On-campus housing is not available, encouraging students to engage with the local DuBois community. Although Penn State DuBois does not emphasize athletics as a core part of its identity, students can participate in several intercollegiate sports as part of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), where the campus fields competitive teams under the moniker "Nittany Lions."

In the most recent statistical year 511 prospective students applied, and 472 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 98 enrolled in the school.  306 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 60 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $13,824 plus fees of $516.
