Penn State Berks is a public college located near the city of Reading, Pennsylvania, approximately 60 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Established in 1958 as a satellite campus of Pennsylvania State University, it occupies a suburban setting and features a mix of contemporary and traditional collegiate architectural styles. Penn State Berks provides a range of bachelor's degree programs with notable emphasis on engineering, business, and information sciences and technology. With moderately selective admissions, the campus seeks a diverse and qualified student body.
