Mount Aloysius College is a private Catholic college in Cresson, Pennsylvania, situated on a sprawling 193-acre campus that highlights Gothic architecture. Established in 1853 by the Sisters of Mercy, the institution has a long history of commitment to the values of justice, hospitality, and service. The college is located approximately 80 miles east of Pittsburgh, providing access to urban culture while maintaining a setting surrounded by the Allegheny Mountains' scenic landscapes. It offers a wide range of associate, bachelor?s, and master?s degree programs, with a strong emphasis on health sciences, business, and social sciences. While Mount Aloysius College has a broadly inclusive admission approach, it maintains an emphasis on personalized education. On-campus living is available with several residence options to foster a cohesive educational experience. Not primarily known for its athletics, the college nonetheless competes in Division III sports as the Mounties.
