Keystone College is situated on a 276-acre rural campus in La Plume, Pennsylvania, approximately 15 miles northwest of Scranton in the Endless Mountains region. Originally founded in 1868 as Keystone Academy, the institution evolved from a preparatory school to a junior college in 1934 and achieved four-year college status in 1995. The campus features a mix of historic and modern buildings, including the President's House which dates to the 19th century, alongside an environmental learning center and woodland trails. Keystone offers bachelor's and associate degrees with notable programs in environmental science, forensic biology, and sport and recreation management. The college maintains a residential campus with several dormitory options and competes in NCAA Division III athletics as the Giants.
