Chatham University occupies a 39-acre campus in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for its historic Andrew Mellon estate grounds and arboretum setting. Originally established in 1869 as the Pennsylvania Female College, Chatham operated as a women's college until becoming fully coeducational in 2015.
