Chatham University is a private institution nestled in the vibrant Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, located approximately 3 miles east of downtown. Established in 1869, originally as a women's college, Chatham has since grown into a coeducational university with a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Known for its strong emphasis on sustainability and global awareness, Chatham offers distinctive degrees such as the Master of Sustainability and Master of Food Studies, alongside popular majors including health sciences and business. With a campus marked by Victorian architecture, Chatham University provides a scenic environment for its students, featuring the Chatham Arboretum, which spans across campus, offering green spaces and a serene setting.
