Cedar Crest College, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is a private liberal arts women's college founded in 1867. With a suburban campus offering a blend of gothic revival architecture and modern aesthetics, Cedar Crest provides a serene learning environment situated about 60 miles north of Philadelphia. The college embraces a broadly selective admissions process and is noted for its academic programs in the health sciences, including nursing and genetic engineering, as well as its strong performing arts curriculum. Residential life is a cornerstone of the Cedar Crest experience, with housing options available for students. While Cedar Crest emphasizes academics, it also offers participation in NCAA Division III athletics, with a variety of sports teams known as the Falcons.
