Oregon State University (OSU), located in Corvallis, a quintessential college town nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, is approximately 90 minutes south of the metropolitan area of Portland. Established in 1868, OSU is a public research institution that encompasses a historic campus known for its distinctive Mission-style architecture. OSU is recognized for a broad spectrum of academic programs, including highly regarded disciplines in forestry, oceanography, and robotics. The university offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees, maintaining a moderate level of application selectivity.
