Central Oregon Community College (COCC) occupies a 201-acre campus on the western edge of Bend, Oregon, situated in the high desert region of the Cascade Mountains. The main campus features modern academic buildings and expansive views of the Cascade Range, with additional satellite locations in Redmond, Madras, and Prineville serving the broader Central Oregon region. Established in 1949 as Oregon's first community college, COCC provides two-year associate degrees, career and technical education programs, and transfer pathways to four-year universities. The college is known for its strong programs in nursing, aviation, culinary arts, and outdoor leadership, taking advantage of the region's natural resources and recreational opportunities.
