Southwestern Christian University

Southwestern Christian University (SCU) is located in Bethany, Oklahoma, a suburban community approximately 10 miles northwest of downtown Oklahoma City. Established in 1946 as Southwestern Bible College, the institution operates under the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and maintains its Christian liberal arts foundation. The 10-acre campus features modern classroom facilities and student housing accommodations while serving primarily as a commuter college for the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. SCU offers undergraduate programs with particular emphasis in business administration, Christian studies, and professional leadership, while maintaining selective admission standards consistent with its religious mission. The university competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as the Eagles, participating primarily in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
