I attended NSU for my four year finance degree and now work for Goldman Sachs so I guess everyone has their own different experiences

NSU is a great school if you want to stay in the area or are looking for a university with a relaxed atmosphere. For the most part I had pretty good professors, but it was hit-or-miss. The gen-eds and some of the fields of study are not challenging, but there are some departments that are (once you get into your major). There have been many improvements to campus since I was a student. The science and athletic departments receive pretty much all of the money (I think that's typical though). Other departments are left in crumbling buildings (the redo on the arts building was a huge joke!).
