Ohio State University-Mansfield Campus is a regional campus located in Mansfield, Ohio, approximately 80 miles north of Columbus. It was established in 1958 as a land-grant university, extending access to the Ohio State University education to students in North Central Ohio. Offering a serene and intimate setting, the Mansfield campus delivers a personalized college experience with the benefit of small class sizes. Students have the opportunity to begin one of over 200 Ohio State majors on the Mansfield Campus, and then transition to the Columbus campus to complete their studies, if desired. Popular majors at Mansfield include Business, Education, and Psychology. While the campus provides a quieter, more suburban atmosphere, it also offers on-campus housing options to foster an immersive educational environment. Ohio State Mansfield does not prominently feature in athletics; however, extracurricular activities and community engagement are highlighted.
