Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), a private Christian liberal arts college, is located in Mount Vernon, Ohio, within comfortable driving distance from the state?s capital, Columbus. Established in 1968, the university is affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene and occupies a suburban campus known for its contemporary architectural designs. MVNU offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable strength in fields such as nursing, business, education, and theology. The university fosters a learning environment with a moderately selective admissions process.
