Lakeland Community College

Lakeland Community College, established in 1967, is located in Kirtland, Ohio, approximately 25 miles east of Cleveland. The 400-acre suburban campus features modern academic facilities, including specialized health technologies buildings and a biotechnology lab complex. The two-year public institution offers more than 130 associate degree and certificate programs, with notable strengths in health care, business, and manufacturing technologies. Lakeland maintains transfer agreements with numerous four-year institutions in Ohio and provides comprehensive student support services through its Holden University Center, where students can complete bachelor's and master's degrees from partner universities without leaving campus. The college primarily serves commuter students from Lake County and surrounding northeastern Ohio communities.
