Mount St. Joseph University, located in suburban Delhi Township on Cincinnati's west side, occupies a hilltop campus overlooking the Ohio River. Founded in 1920 by the Sisters of Charity, the institution maintains its Catholic heritage while operating as a private, co-educational university. The campus consists of modern academic buildings and residence halls integrated with the original Gothic-style structures. Mount St. Joseph offers undergraduate and graduate programs with particular strengths in health sciences, education, and business, along with established programs in nursing and physical therapy. Students can reside in one of three campus residence halls, and the university competes in NCAA Division III athletics as the Lions, participating in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
