Cleveland Institute of Music

The Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM), located in Cleveland's University Circle cultural district, operates in partnership with Case Western Reserve University. Founded in 1920, this conservatory occupies a modern campus complex featuring the Mixon Hall concert venue known for its acoustic design and glass wall overlooking a garden. CIM maintains a highly selective admissions process for its undergraduate and graduate programs in classical music performance, composition, and conducting.
