Located in Jamestown, North Dakota, Jamestown College (now known as the University of Jamestown) is a private liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Established in 1883, the university's main campus spans 110 acres in a residential area of Jamestown, a small city situated between Bismarck and Fargo. The university offers traditional undergraduate programs with particular emphasis in nursing, education, and business, while also maintaining graduate programs including a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Students primarily reside in one of six residence halls on the main campus, where they can experience the region's four distinct seasons. The university competes in NAIA athletics as the Jimmies, participating in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
