Wilkes Community College (WCC) serves northwestern North Carolina from its main campus in Wilkesboro, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains approximately 60 miles northwest of Winston-Salem. The 150-acre main campus features modern classroom buildings and technical training facilities situated among rolling hills. Established in 1965, WCC provides associate degrees, vocational training, and continuing education programs, with notable strengths in applied technology, business, and healthcare fields.
