Wilkes Community College, established in 1965, is a public, two-year post-secondary institution located in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Wilkes Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  661 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,660 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,432 plus fees of $140.
