Overview

Stanly Community College (SCC), established in 1971, is a public institution located in Albemarle, North Carolina, offering a range of certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs. The college features a suburban setting approximately 40 miles northeast of Charlotte, providing a tranquil environment complemented by modern facilities conducive to learning and innovation. Stanly Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  435 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,884 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,554 plus fees of $240.
