First - this is NOT a religiously affiliated college. It was only Moravian when it was founded and for some years following, but no longer is. Second, this is a great little gem and I highly recommend Salem. There are great professors, several great professional opportunities and the community is great. It isn't for everyone, but overall you'll have a great experience if you get involved!

Salem is a unique environment because it brings together a vast mixture of personalities and pushes each individual to thrive in their own original way. I am not sure of another place that allows a large group of students too grow as individual. Salem values individuality and community at the same time. Your peers challenge you in a healthy way to follow your dreams and to explore new options. You learn to appreciate the world in a new way. I've loved by time here and would really suggest this to people who really want to figure out what their purpose is.
