The faculty/staff are the saving grace of PIU. Unfortunately, they've been laying off great staff members left and right, in order to get a "fresh start." They aren't regionally accredited so my credits would not transfer to any of the schools I wanted to go to. In the past, they have "left out" the fact that they are a Christian school, so I know many people who showed up and were surprised about the strict dress code, no drinking/smoking rule, and curfews. If you're looking at PIU for a ministry degree, I would probably discourage you from going there because ministry doesn't seem to be a priority for them anymore. However, if you just want a cheap degree, it'll do.

Not a great school..anymore. It use to be. I graduated with 1 degree, but ended up when new president came in and they changed things that I now have a worthless degree and 1 that wasnt even offered when I went to school there. Crazy.
