Pfeiffer University is a private Methodist-affiliated institution located in the rural community of Misenheimer, North Carolina, approximately 40 miles northeast of Charlotte. Originally established in 1885 as a mission school before evolving into Pfeiffer Junior College and later achieving university status in 1996, the institution operates its main campus across 340 acres of rolling piedmont landscape. The university maintains additional campuses in Charlotte and Raleigh, offering undergraduate programs in health sciences, business, and education, while the main campus provides traditional residential college experiences with student housing and dining facilities.
