Craven Community College is a public two-year institution located in New Bern, North Carolina, situated along the Neuse and Trent rivers approximately 110 miles east of Raleigh. The main campus occupies 100 acres in a suburban setting, with a satellite campus in Havelock serving the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point community. Established in 1965, the college provides technical, vocational, and university transfer programs, with particular emphasis on health sciences, aviation maintenance, and manufacturing technology. The college maintains an open admission policy and offers both day and evening classes to serve traditional and non-traditional students.
