Located in Wilson, North Carolina, approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh, Barton College is a private liberal arts institution set on a 75-acre suburban campus characterized by its Georgian-style architecture. Founded in 1902 as Atlantic Christian College, the institution adopted its current name in 1990 and maintains an affiliation with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
