You get what you pay for. A lot of bad professors and advisers. Some good ones but definitely a lot of bad ones. The only thing 75% of the students here care about is drinking and partying and greek life. Freshman dorms are nice but all of the other ones are dirty and gross with no amenities. Get your degree somewhere else if you want to be a respectable applicant for graduate school, because Oneonta is not really "well known" for anything but teaching. Impossible to find parking even though you have to pay over $100 dollars a year to park your car there. Only thing to do is go to the same 6 dirty trashy bars every weekend. Students are not very involved in a lot of the clubs. You'd be better off at UAlbany.
