Skidmore College is a private liberal arts institution located in Saratoga Springs, New York, approximately 30 miles north of Albany. Founded in 1903, the college sits on a suburban 890-acre campus characterized by a blend of traditional and modern architecture, including the Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery. Skidmore offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs with particular strengths in the visual and performing arts, business, and social sciences. The school maintains a holistic and competitive admissions process. On-campus housing is provided, with a variety of living options accommodating the majority of the student body. Skidmore's academic ethos is reflected in its commitment to interdisciplinary learning and undergraduate research opportunities.
